Stop Throwing Things At Me is coming along at a staggering pace! This is our weekly project update!
As this is the project's first official post, we should let you know where the game is at the moment. As of right now, we can throw knives at the player! Players are capable of dodging knives or catching them, and can even throw them back at their assailants! We have also implemented 3D sounds to the blades as they fly at you, helping instill fear. Since the game will feature a lack of sight, this is one of our most crucial features.
We have also implemented a timer based on our work with shaders in Unity. This was a growing experience for our development team, and there is still some polish to be added. It is, however, functional!
We look forward to implementing automated throwing, and are eager to get to the stage of "turning out the lights," where the game experience truly reaches its peak...
